Greta Gerwig's Barbie has been painting the town bubblegum pink. The movie has been in the news for months now; be it for its star cast or the Barbiecore trend. On Sunday, the film ended up being the talk of the town, courtesy: Barbie's star-studded world premiere. The event witnessed the entire cast walking down the pink carpet. What caught the attention of eagle-eyed fans was Ryan Gosling's pendant. Wondering what is so special about it? The actor gave a shoutout to his wife, actress Eva Mendes, through his “E” chain necklace.

Ryan Gosling, who plays Ken in the film, showed up at the Los Angeles world premiere of Barbie looking sharp in his formal wear. Gosling expressed his love for Eva Mendes through the “E” pendant. The accessory came in the movie's iconic Barbie font with pink outlining and curly ends. The Hollywood star looked dashing in his pink Gucci suit. The outfit featured a pink blazer atop straight matching trousers and a formal shirt. Gosling carried his shirt in a button-down style, allowing the necklace to peek through while dangling on his chest. He picked white formal shoes with black stripes for the big day.

It was the first time that Ryan Gosling wore an accessory at a Barbie event. He was previously seen abiding by the Barbiecore trend. For the press of Barbie, Ryan wore a pretty bubblegum pink jacket atop a white T-shirt and charcoal grey pants. Wearing the jacket in the zip-down style, the actor let his graphic T-shirt, with his director Greta Gerwig's name on it, peek from within. Of course, the text was in pink Barbie font.
Barbie will hit the theatres on July 21. Apart from Ryan Gosling, the movie stars Margot Robbie and Kingsley Ben-Adir, among others.
